Hello? Arizona, may I please come live with you....

As a native Coloradoan, you would think I would be used to the ridiculous weather. When I say ridiculous I mean, beautiful blue skies and 70 degree weather last week; and now, there is a blizzard taking over the state. I WILL NEVER GET USED TO THIS. period. I know we need moisture, I know we have been in a draught but still, I would prefer it to not be like this. Where, when we get a huge storm, people are cross-country skiing to get to the grocery store. Don't get me wrong, I love Colorado, it is breath-takingly beautiful, I just wish I could say, "Oh, I used to live there, good times" when looking back on memories and pictures of the blizzards I have endured my entire life. I hope at some point I will be able to move on, move on to an extreme opposite where it NEVER snows. Like, beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. Someday, I will put these cold days behind...and step forward into the sweltering heat of the sun.

Yes. This is where I live.

This is what definately what I would prefer.

Pictures.....

These are our dogs Nico (on left) and Igby (on right). They are the biggest sweethearts. They love people and get super excited when anybody comes to the house. Last May, they had nine beautiful little puppies. Although they were loud, smelly and a lot of work they were such cutie pies!! They all went to their own homes in July. I received news about a month later that one was hit by a car. That was terrible news to hear. I have seen a few of them since they left our house and I can't believe how big they are now. It's weird how tiny and fragile they were and now they are their own crazy dog! Here's a couple of pictures of them as little babies..........

This picture was taken about an hour after they were born.......... they looked like little bats.....so cute!

DVF..........

I was watching one of my favorite television shows this evening and the fantastic designer Diane Von Fustenberg made a small appearance. She is obviously an extremely intelligent person, seeing as she is one of the most successful designers in the past 20 or so years. Ms. Von Fustenberg made a great statement tonight, "Absence to love is as wind is to fire; and the most important relationship you have, is the relationship you have with yourself. Where ever you go, you will always be with yourself". I feel like this statement is, or should be, common knowledge; however most seem to become to enthralled with the world around them, that they forget about themselves. I know I do. But it is true, you will always be with you, so people should nurture that relationship just as any other. However, I do not mean to undermine other relationships of importance because it is important to relate with other's in order to grow as a person. Without personal relationships you could learn nothing of the person you wish to be. Well, I suppose that is all for the evening. So, on a lighter note........

I cannot believe that this is an actual show on Nickelodean. I had it so much much better as a child! I am so glad that they showed this on the E! channel, or I would have definately missed out on a lot of laughs!

The Last House On the Left

This evening I went and watched the movie "The Last House On the Left". I have seen the original movie multiple times and had an idea of what I was in for; because we all know that horror movies now, compared to horror movies in the 70's, are about as graphic as possible so that the public can still view these films. I have and will always be a huge horror movie fanatic so usually, there isn't one that I won't watch. There have been a lot of horror movie remakes in the past three years, my favorite remake being Rob Zombies retelling of "Halloween"; which is just about my favorite movie ever. "The Last House on the Left" was absolutely disturbing to say the least, but I liked it! There were a couple scenes that definitely did not need to be as unsettling as they were but like I said directors will get away with whatever they can before receiving an NC-17 rating. I think that those scenes that I speak of were so over examined so that the viewer would hate the antagonists enough so that there demise in the end would be well deserved; and I believe it was. Overall, I think it's an originally ironic story and I am glad I went to see it. By now, though, we should all realize that if you initiate any drug use in a horror movie, you will die; and I will leave you on that positive note.

Liv Tyler? I think not.....

So, again today, I was told that I am identical to Liv Tyler. That is the second time this week. My mom and I were recently discussing over breakfast at Denny's, how everyone supposedly has a twin somewhere out in the world. I would like to think that I could be the twin of someone that beautiful. No complaints; it's actually quite a compliment, but I think not. Just a thought.

My Caleb and Me...

This is Caleb and I. I just took this picture a couple of minutes ago. Aren't we cutie pies? I think the picture actively describes our relationship. He is my best friend in the world and he makes me such a happy little lady. Caleb and I met when I was 17 and he was just about to turn 20. It's funny to think that I am the same age now as he was when I met him. Now, we've been married almost three years and I wouldn't change a thing. Not to say things have been easy, but in the long run it's the disappointments and heartache that really make us stronger. We aren't perfect but who is? I love him more everyday. He makes me laugh so much, sometimes he drives me so crazy I could rip my hair out; because let me tell you, he really knows how to push my buttons. I love him for it, though, he knows me better than most anyone. I really think we make quite the pair.
